Almanacs

Students in my Introductory Environmental Studies courses are tasked with keeping a place-based almanac throughout the course of the semester. These involve photos, writing, artifacts, and a little drawing (with guidance from a local artist). It is a joy to read these at the end of the term, as student reflect on what they've experienced and tie it into our broader course goals.
